For the first time in too long, I sent out "handmade with love" valentine's this year. As a Christmas present, my boyfriend signed us both up for a letterpress class at Studio on the Square, located in Union Square, NY. This was my first time trying letterpress and I LOVED IT. It combined three things that I really enjoy: typography, organization, and small objects.
Back to the valentines - I chose Bodoni as my font, and after they were printed I added a little pink bow to each card and hand printed little xoxo's on each envelope using old wood type blocks I found in a nearby antique store for even more of a personal touch. I can't wait to make more handmade items!
